Grand Lynx Golf Centre, Sudbury’s premier year-round golf facility, is 80 acres of golfer paradise. There is nothing like it for hundreds of miles: 40 tee bays; pitch, chip and putt practice areas; a 4-hole course (and room for another 5 holes); and a huge state-of-the-art indoor performance center – Mulligan’s Indoor Golf.

Grand Lynx Golf Center offers a full spectrum of services for golfers of every skill level Rene is a talented fitter/teacher but has also been an engineer for many years and was honored as a Fellow of the Engineers of Canada (only 1 of 15 so honored by the Association). His real passion has always been golf. For the last 8 years, he has coached the Boreal College Golf Team, earning more medals during his coaching tenure than all of the sports teams combined! And, of course, the entire team has been custom fit with KZG equipment. As a certified “Perfect Swing Instructor”, Rene knows you can’t teach around ill-fitting clubs.

Three professional teachers are available during the regular golf season to give individualized and group lessons/clinics. Rene is always available to custom fit you which is guaranteed to shave strokes off your game. Grand Lynx features two Swing Dynamic and an Achiever launch monitors, frequency analyzers and video cameras to assist both in the teaching and fitting aspects of the game.

Well-respected in his fields of both teaching and fitting, Rene is a Certified Master ClubFitter and has been rated yearly as one of the World’s Top 100 ClubFitter since 2006. Rene is also a Founding Member of IPAC, the elite non-profit association of fitters who are dedicated to raising the bar for the profession and helping to educate the public on what to expect in a bona fide fitting.
