Pin High’s Future is the place to go for a first rate fitting and precise club building by true professionals.
Rick Cicero and Steve Williams were both trained and served as assistants to Dick Cicero, the original owner of Pin High, who had been rated among the World’s Top 100 ClubFitters from 2017 through 2022. Golfers traveled hundreds of miles for Dick’s expert advice, recommendations, and for his handcrafted custom clubs. After Dick passed, his golfing customers literally begged his two assistants Rick (who is also Dick’s son) and Steve to continue taking care of them. Rick and Steve have agreed to do so, and also plan on covering another specialty: disabled golfers.
Both Rick and Steve are disabled. Their story is quite amazing. Both are extremely positive and enjoy life to the fullest. They have state of the art prosthesis so that they can easily conduct fittings and do extremely detailed club building. To meet them is a true inspiration. They are a real tribute to man’s capability of overcoming obstacles. Always positive, always interested in helping others.
All golfers are unique and their swings are also unique. Getting fit in a personalized fitting session with a true professional is necessary to find the right combination of head, shaft and specifications. Because golf is played on turf, Rick and Steve like to do their fittings on turf. Pin High has its own private 250-yard fitting range with points of aim on a 33-yard wide fairway where accuracy and distance are the key to perfection. Utilizing launch monitor data, ball flight, landing angle, and video swing analysis play a crucial part in putting each golfer into an exact fit.
Rick and Steve are both Master Builders as they have spent years learning from the very best. They hand craft each and every KZG custom club to very tight tolerances by following a strict blueprint for every set. The shafts are spine aligned, weight sorted, profiled and trimmed individually to allow for hosel depth and frequency matched to the designated head to insure a 4 cycle difference between each club. The heads are weight sorted to a 7 gram gradient for constant swingweight (MOI). The end result is a set of clubs which are perfectly matched to the golfer, where each club feels the same, swings the same, and hits the ball a designated distance. This gives the golfer a 10 to 15 yard distance gap between clubs.
Many of the teaching professionals who want their members and students to be fit properly, continue to refer their fittings to Pin High, including The Plantation, Citrus Springs, World Woods Golf, Spruce Creek Preserve and On Top of the World. Golfers from The Villages travel many miles to see Rick and Steve for a quality fitting and for true game-improving custom clubs.
When you are ready for a first rate fitting from two highly-respected professionals, give Rick and Steve a call. They will be happy to help you shave strokes off your game.
