Owner Scott Ross has over two decades experience as a coach, teacher and clubfitter. Today he offers a state-of-the-art custom fitting studio inside Sim-U-Golf in Pompano Beach. The studio features 3 Trackman Bays and a Puttview Green.
Scott has had a very interesting golf career. He graduated from The Golf Academy of America back in 2002 and since that time has been the Head Pro of several country clubs, and the Head Pro for Carnival Cruise Lines where he was able to teach, fit and play golf around the globe.
Scott is a pioneer in club fitting. He started The Golf Truck one of the first mobile vans offering fitting and repair service around the Boca Raton area. Scott has helped many PGA, LPGA Champion Tour and Mini Tour Players with their equipment needs.
KZG has been one of Scott’s favorite equipment lines for over 20 years. KZG quality and the performance are exceptional. The wide spectrum of models enables him to dial in the perfect custom clubs for each and every golfer. And he loves the integrity of KZG’s policy of only working with skilled professional coaches, teachers and fitters who will take the time to fit every KZG club.
As a Professional, Scott realizes that the first step to achieving a good swing is to get fit. He loves to work with Beginners as it is essential they start with clubs that will work with their natural stance and swing. He will often suggest that they start with just a couple of clubs, and then they can fill in their set as they progress.
Seniors too need to be sure that their clubs are ideal for them. Many Seniors get frustrated as they are losing distance, some will even give up the game. A change of clubs will help them find that distance again and stay in the game, which also will enhance mental and physical health.
And for every level golfer who wants to improve, they must be playing the ideal clubs for their physical size, strength and skill.
You will love this guy, patient, knowledgeable, and he will take the time to explain each step in the fitting process. Give Scott a call to discuss your game and your needs.
