Westside Golf Academy is the perfect place to learn the game of golf and to improve.

Garth Mattson, a veteran PGA professional for well-over 30 years, thought he was going to retire, but quickly realized that he missed the game, the golfers, and his biggest love,  teaching and fitting golf equipment.  So he, along with veteran clubfitter and builder Kyle Marvin, opened up a state-of-the-art golf academy to live their dreams.

Garth and Kyle are dedicated to bringing their golfers not only the best in lessons, but also in custom equipment.  They both know that the only way golfers can really learn to play and to improve is to have equipment that fits them correctly.  Nothing could be worse than having a beginner trying to conform their body to ill-fitting equipment only to acquire an awkward swing.  And sadly, even today, a very high percentage of golfers continue to play ill-fitting clubs and wonder why the game is so frustrating.
