Over 20 Years

1994

KZG, Inc. was initially started by Jennifer King and Bruce McKinnon as a technology based equipment company selling patented and new technologies to the major golf companies.

1997

Jennifer King and Bruce McKinnon introduced Orlimar as a new technology and sold more than 1.75 million TriMetal and TriMetal Plus golf clubs, making it the number one Fairway Wood in the industry. Also, they became part owner of Orlimar Japan.

1998

Scottish Glen Golf Co. Inc, dba KZG was started by Jennifer King and Lisa Jadon and offered for the very first time high quality, high performance golf equipment to professional clubfitters and clubmakers.

1998

Introduced the award winning and new brazing technology in its Maraging Power line of clubs.

2004

Winner of the Industry ING Award for its innovative and outstanding quality of forged irons.

2004

Introduced its proprietary (patent pending) Twin-Face Technology, initially ruled non-conforming by the USGA. An Appeal to the Implements and Ball Committee earned a reversal of that ruling, although delaying its introduction for a year. The technology incorporated into its Gemini Series of Drivers and Fairway Woods have earned virtually every award imaginable, which are recognized as the straightest hitting on the market.

2005

Started an advanced certification program at KZG headquarters to earn a Master’s Degree in Clubfitting. The school is designed for industry leaders as professional fitters continue to hone their skills and to earn credential that acknowledged their achievement. Attended by the top clubfitters in the world.

2006

KZG’s Gemini II 460 driver is honored on Golf Digest’s prestigious Hot List 2006.

2008

KZG’s Fitting and Performance Center in North Hollywood is renovated to offer customers one of the most technically advanced fitting centers in the world.

2009

KZG partners with FlightScope (launch monitors) and becomes an official “FlightScope Center”.

2011

KZG to co-host a 3-day Master ClubFitter Certification Course and Conference (along with the International Professsional Association of Clubfitters), in Hannover, Germany.

2013

KZG’s HSS Irons are honored on Golf Digest’s prestigious Hot List 2013.

2015

KZG moves its headquarters to Palm Desert, California and opens its own retail venue, The KZG Performance Center. The only world class fitting center in the Coachella Valley.
