The Tri-Tour Forged Irons are the ultimate golf clubs for custom club fitting, designed to cater to golfers of all levels.

The Tri-Tour Irons are triple forged from 1020 virgin carbon steel and CNC milled to provide a soft, buttery feel while ensuring repeatable consistency on every shot. The contoured sole design guarantees ease of play through any turf condition, making these irons highly adaptable to different playing environments.

Featuring three weight portals and five weight options (1.5, 3, 4.5, 7, 9 grams), professionals can alter the club in various ways. This adjustability allows for changes in weight to lighter or heavier settings, adding forgiveness, enhancing workability, and shifting weights to alter bias or produce a preferred ball flight. This makes the Tri-Tour Irons KZG’s most versatile iron out of their 20 models, fitting a wide range of golfers.

Weight Adjustment and Its Outcomes

The versatility of the weight adjustment in the Tri-Tour Irons allows for precise customization to match a golfer’s specific needs:

  1. Centering the Weight:
    • Balanced Performance: Keeping the weight centered in the clubhead promotes a balanced performance. It aids in achieving a consistent and neutral ball flight, making it easier to hit straight shots.
    • Enhanced Stability: Centered weight can improve the stability of the club during the swing, helping golfers maintain control and reduce the likelihood of mishits.
  2. Moving Weight to the Perimeter:
    • Increased Forgiveness: Shifting the weight to the perimeter of the clubhead increases the moment of inertia (MOI). This higher MOI makes the club more forgiving on off-center hits, helping maintain distance and accuracy even on less-than-perfect strikes.
    • Stable Ball Flight: Perimeter weighting helps in stabilizing the ball flight, reducing the chances of hooks or slices and making the club more user-friendly for mid to high handicap players.
  3. Moving Weight Towards the Heel:
    • Draw Bias: Placing weight towards the heel of the club promotes a draw bias. This adjustment can help golfers who struggle with slicing the ball, as it encourages a right-to-left ball flight for right-handed players (and left-to-right for left-handed players).
    • Enhanced Feel: Heel weighting can also enhance the feel of the club, making it easier to close the clubface at impact and improving the golfer’s ability to control the shot shape.
  4. Moving Weight Towards the Toe:
    • Fade Bias: Shifting weight towards the toe of the club promotes a fade bias. This adjustment is beneficial for golfers who tend to hook the ball, as it encourages a left-to-right ball flight for right-handed players (and right-to-left for left-handed players).
    • Control and Workability: Toe weighting can increase the club’s workability, allowing skilled players to shape their shots more precisely and navigate challenging course conditions.

Ideal for a Wide Spectrum of Players

The versatility of the Tri-Tour Irons makes them ideal for a wide spectrum of players, from competitive tour players to mid-handicap golfers. Many junior medalists prefer this model as it can grow with them due to the ability to dramatically change the clubhead weight. The Tri-Tour Irons are also perfect for exceptionally tall or short golfers because of the significant weight adjustments that can be achieved.

With these advanced features, the Tri-Tour Forged Irons provide exceptional performance, customization, and feel, making them a top choice for golfers seeking optimal performance and versatility.

"I have twin daughters that are on the Junior circuit. Both carry the Tri-Tour Irons as I could dial in the perfect fit for them with the 3 weight portals and 4 weight options. Many of the other juniors that I coach, teach and fit are loving the Tri-Tour Irons as well ... and the parents are very happy too as these irons will grow with their children into adulthood."
