Lefties

Lefties:  

Lefties have been a bit short changed in equipment availability.   Because only 10% of the global population are southpaws, it can be challenging to find equipment.   Many brick and mortar golf venues don’t even carry Lefties , relying on internet sales .  (Did you know that 70% of all golf equipment is sold over the internet.  An even higher percentage like over 90% or more of Lefties are buying off the internet. This is a disaster for Lefties.)       The reason that Lefties get fewer options boils down to commercial feasibility.   Tooling costs are expensive, and when amortized over 10% of golfers rather than 90%,  a company has to consider how many can they sell?   Plus, a manufacturer has to buy in fairly large quantities at one time, which becomes an inventory problem as well. Lefties are also challenged by the minimal amount of Lefty coaches, teachers and training aids.   But please persist.
